Chalki becomes the first “GR-eco” island of our country, transforming into a model- island of energy transition. With the signing of the memorandum of cooperation, by the Minister of Environment and Energy, with the Embassy of France in Greece, the Region of the South Aegean, the municipality of Chalki, PPC, the Syngelidis/Citroen Group, AKUO ENERGY GREECE, OMEXOM/Vinci Energies , Vodafone Greece and ALD Automotive, Chalki is leading the way towards the creation of GR-eco islands, connecting the private sector with local communities while encouraging partnerships that promote new technologies and low-carbon energy practices.
